Fitting words that mark the coming of age of the character Ponyboy Curtis from S.E. Hinton's famous book The Outsiders. Pony is a 14 year old Greaser, a member of a gang of youths in 1965 Tulsa Oklahoma. Small for his age he has light-brown reddish hair and greenish gray eyes. One of Ponyboys most endearing qualities throughout the book has to be his understanding and caring attitude about those he is closest to. Everyone that is except his brother Darry who he misunderstands completely.
